During this project with the preschoolers, each child got a white and a brown egg. They were asked these questions, "What color is your egg?" and "What color do you think is on the inside?" We got so many unique responses such as them thinking it'd be blue or green inside of their eggs. Once the kids cracked their eggs open, they were shocked yet amused to find that both the white and the brown egg were the same. This was a great experience leading to the moral of the lesson, that even though we are all different on the outside we are still the same on the inside and we should treat everyone equally regardless of the way they look. |
